Angry Mobs

Ok so id like to her from you guys on this:

I have a few ideas for mobs, considering how you all moan about creepers n such.

1.) Drop the creepers completely. This might cause other limitations...

2.) Get a plugin that prevents them from spawning anywhere near us... this ight take some time to set up

3.) Link a new world to ours... ie a new gate like the one that goes to the Nether. House it in the barracks along with the Nether Gate. This world will then be heavy-combat... ie no neutral mobs like pigs or cows, but will have LOADS of hostile creeps, including giant creepers, pigmen, and possibly creeper queens or something like that. In turn, ill then disable all hostile mobs in our world
This can then be extended further to have a sort of domain system... ie ill spawn a world... and then edit it to have clear areas for the different hostile forces... with unique or boss monsters in those areas.
I might also consider adding in the Gun SDK and power armor, but then ill be pumping up creep difficulty LOADS.
The extra world however, will place a little extra strain on the server, as does any additional world (yes the nether counts for this)

  1. I am the first one to say YES REMOVE THE CREEPERS, however, I think our primary issue here is our lag. We can't outrun them or avoid them because by the time we see them they have actually already got to us and exploded. I would go for lowering there spawn in the main world, but not removing hostile spawns completely. Got my test server setup to not spawn mosters and it gets pretty boring after a while. I think that creating a monster world is a good idea, but perhaps we should get more ram or better hardware in that server before we do that
