.) It is not to facilitate your laziness. Think of it like the portals in WoW or similar. Its an easy way to get to the major locations in our world, not a way to make your life easier by warping you between your mine and the storage room 5 flights of stairs above you.
.) We have 12 availble slots right now. 3 are being used for the major area's (Skull Mountain, Burning Deeps, and The Dwarven Throne room), and 1 for the minor desert area for sand collection. Think carefully about how were gonna use em cuz its going to be a fair bit of work to expand this.
.) The cost of a linkup is 20 Obsidian. This is for the house rule that all portals are linked via standard Nether gates.
.) Only I can create gates. This is not for any egotistical reasons, Its simply for admin purposes. There are alot of commands and arrangements that go into creating and linking a gates, not to mention the fact that all gates have labels. If these are done wrong, its hell to fix. I also have a nice naming structure going and id like to keep it that way.
I would like to request one portal into the barracks. Its currently built ontop the mountain to be flattened for resources for the laputa. Once that is done, a portal will be the only way to it, unless I go with my orignal plan of building a bridge to it.
